Bienniale of the 9th art, Comic booksFrom 23rd June to 1st October – Cherbourg-en-Cotentin
Exhibition dedicated to comic books which celebrates every 2 years since 2002, a well-known comic book author. This 8th edition will present the works of Winsor McCay at Thomas Henry Museum in Cherbourg.
Normandy trail: La Barjo17th and 18th June – La Hague
The craziest trail race of Normandy. 4 different lengths of race can be run, from 15 to 100km. It offers you a chance to stretch your legs during your holidays and to discover in the same time the wild nature of La Hague.
73rd anniversary of D-Day landings6th June – Sainte-Mère-Eglise, Utah Beach, Carentan
Take part in the festivities and officical ceremonies of the D-Day celebration and discover the historic sites of the liberation. Ceremonies, historic re-enactments of military camps, balls, fireworks… will take place in the cities surrounding the d-day landing beaches.
Collignon Festivities24th June – Beach of Collignon, Tourlaville
As part of the 50th anniversary of Tourlaville and Northeim (Germany) twinning, many sport and fun activities will be proposed at the beach of Collignon, on land or at sea, from 11 am to 7 pm.

The Art’zimutés FestivalFrom 29th June to 01st July – Cherbourg-en-Cotentin
Multidisciplinary festival which gathers current music concerts (Boulevard des Airs), circus art shows, demonstrations and exhibitions of Graphic Arts. It takes place in la plage verte of Cherbourg.
Les Historiques du TourpFrom 15th to 16th July – Le manoir du Tourp in Omonville-la-Rogue
Ancient manorial farmhouse , the Manoir du Tourp organises each year numerous activities, workshops and exhibitions to promote the historic and cultural heritage of Le Cotentin. Sea Festival13th August – Barneville-Carteret
Come celebrate the sea on the west coast of Cotentin! Many activities are scheduled around the port of Barneville Carteret: demonstrations of rescue on sea, games and concerts. Street Arts FestivalFrom 11th to 13th August – Omonville-la-Rogue

Les traversées de TatihouFrom 14th to 26th August – Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue and Tatihou island
International music festival which occurs on the Tatihou island (crossing by amphibious vehicle or by foot during low tide). This 23rd edition will present numerous concerts of traditional music worldwide.
Automn plants and flavours9th and 10th September – Omonville-la-Rogue
Event for gastronomy and garden lovers. Passionate exhibitors are gathered to share their skills and showcase new products.
European Heritage Days16th and 17th September – Cotentin
Visit freely or at a reduced price monuments, parks and museums of Cotentin. Some heritage sites, normally closed to visits all year around, open exceptionally their doors during European Heritage Days.
The Thursday visitsEvery Thursday of July and August – Cotentin
